Representative Tim Flook (R-Liberty) recently received the Legislative Spirit of Enterprise on Nov. 19, for his hard work and dedication to Job Creation and Economic Development in Missouri. The Spirit of Enterprise award is given to legislators by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for outstanding work to promote business in both the Greater Kansas City area and across our state.

The Spirit of Enterprise award is one of many awards Representative Flook received this summer including the Missouri Economic Development Financing Association’s Outstanding Legislator, The Lewis & Clark Statesman award from the St. Louis RCGA, and the St. Louis Business Journal’s Legislative Award, among others.

On Nov. 30, Representative Flook, Chairman of the Committee on Job Creation and Economic Development, will be holding a committee meeting here in Liberty. If you would like to learn about some of the potential programs the state is looking to pursue in the 2009 Legislative session, please feel free to drop by.  The Hearing will be at 4 p.m. in the Yates Student Union at William Jewell College, Room 221. For questions contact William Musick, Legislative Assistant to Tim Flook, by calling (573) 751-1218 or by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
