Consolidation of Hickman Mills, Ruskin alters layout again It appears the makeover of the Suburban Conference is complete. A few weeks ago, the league had announced its realignment for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years. However, more changes had to be made with the recent announcement of the consolidation of Hickman Mills and Ruskin high schools. With 25 schools still in the conference, the league will continue to have four divisions — three divisions comprised of six teams each and one of seven. The White Division has been renamed the Suburban Seven. Here’s the breakdown according to league officials:
Suburban Big Six (Gold Division) Blue Springs Blue Springs South Liberty Lee’s Summit Lee’s Summit North Raymore-Peculiar
Suburban Mid Six (Red Division) Hickman Mills-Ruskin Lee’s Summit West North Kansas City Park Hill St. Joseph Central Truman
Suburban Seven (White Division) Belton Fort Osage Park Hill South Raytown Raytown South William Chrisman Winnetonka
Suburban Small Six (Blue Division) Grandview Kearney Liberty North Oak Park Platte County Staley
