Embrace falling tempsPosted by meaganodonnell in Style Points |

I'm not a cold weather person and you might not be either, but living in Missouri, cold is something we have to deal with. Although I despise when the mercury plummets this time of year, there are some things I get to wear that makes it a bit easier to accept the fact that I'm going to be cold all the time for the next five months.
- Scarves - I have a large collection of scarves in all weights, colors and materials. Once fall hits, I wear a scarf almost every day, all day. Try it, a warm neck is almost as good as warm toes.
- Boots - I wear boots a lot. Why not? What's better than wearing comfortable socks inside boots all day? Well, maybe letting the tootsies loose in flip-flops all day, but I will say, no more pedicures until May works for me.
- Hats - Bad hair can be left to summer, because I can simply cover it up with a warm, cozy hat and then blame the bad hair day on the hat. Just watch out for stand-up static hair. I like to carry some kind of hair spray or frizz tamer to solve that problem.
- Sweaters - I'm always cold so I like the weight of cold weather clothes especially thick, chunky knit sweaters. Sweaters can also hide what we've been trying all summer to get rid of.
Here's a classic fall/early winter look to dream about. Make the most of the cold weather and use it to your advantage to look fabulous.
