There was never a doubt.
Less than two minutes into the match, the Blue Jays had already gotten on the board. And they never looked back.
Liberty girls soccer captured the Class 3 District 16 championship with a one-sided 4-0 victory against Park Hill South on Thursday night at Park Hill District Soccer Complex.
The nationally ranked Blue Jays have punched their ticket to the state playoffs which begin next week. Look for a playoff rundown this weekend, and full team coverage in the May 27 print edition of the Liberty Tribune.
